Why this matters
One donation is up to three lives saved and a free health check on top. The body restores the volume within days and renews cells faster than usual.
What to do
Option one: register as a blood donor (in Sweden — geblod.nu, centres in every larger city), arrive well slept and well fed, the whole thing takes about half an hour. Option two, if donating is not for you: get a full blood panel including ferritin, vitamin D and B12 — and finally learn your own numbers.
