You roughly know how you have been hurt. You barely know how you have hurt.
What to do
Choose someone who has been around a long time and has something to say. Warn them: I want to ask one thing and I promise to just listen. Ask it straight: how have I hurt you, what have you kept quiet about. From then on your only job is to stay silent — no corrections, no fixing the chronology, no that is not what I meant. One thing is allowed: asking them to say more. When they finish, say thank you and that you need time to take it in; you can answer properly in a few days, but let it be heard today.
