Why this matters
Hair grows back. The fear of looking different does not — unless you touch it. This is the most reversible way to test how much you depend on other people's eyes.
What to do
Pick a colour you have never worn. Not «almost my shade» — a visible one. Go to a salon or buy the dye yourself. Live with it at least three days, no hat hiding.
