Draw inspiring picture or message with chalk on pavement
Why this matters
Street art is a gift with no name on it: a stranger gets a second of surprise and a lift in mood, with no idea who made it.
What to do
Grab chalk (any stationery shop has it) and find a visible spot — a sidewalk, a park path, the area by your entrance. Draw a picture or write a short uplifting phrase. 20–30 minutes. No permission needed — chalk washes off with rain. If you feel shy, start early morning when it's quiet.
Afterwards
What did the passersby's reactions — or the lack of them — tell you about why public art matters?
