Flip a coin — heads go left, tails go right. Then just go.
Why this matters
We walk the same routes not by choice but by rut. A coin knocks you out of it in five minutes.
What to do
Step outside and stop at the first corner. Flip a coin: heads left, tails right, and go that way with no do-overs. At the next corner flip again, and so on five times. One rule: the coin's decision isn't up for discussion, even when it points somewhere dull. On the fifth flip, stop and look at where you're standing.
