Inventing a faith is the fastest way to say out loud what you already believe.
What to do
Don't start with a god — start with what is actually sacred to you: silence, water, honest work, other people's children. Give it a name. Write three commandments, and make at least one of them inconvenient for you personally. Invent one daily ritual that takes under a minute, and one holiday a year. Add what counts as a sin in this faith — that's where the interesting part shows up. All on one sheet, in half an hour, no revising.
