Helping frogs cross the road
I was cycling at the local nature reserve and spotted a a couple of frogs sitting still in the middle of the road. Up ahead, there was a park maintenance car moving towards us. Acting on instinct, I hit the brakes on my bike, got off and gently picked up the frogs one by one, putting them in a safe spot on the other side of the road, among the leaves. It might not be much, but even a small deed like that can be a big help for a small animal. Then I took a little break by the lake and kept on cycling.
